bitting Code for RV's (doors and Storage boxes)

I live in an area that has a HUGE camper influx. People frequently lock themselves out of their motor homes and campers. I have a new HPC Blitz code cutter and Code Source software. I am sure that it will take me time to get up to speed on ALL of the features of both. Does anyone have any tips when it comes to TRI-MARK, etc. .. RV keys? Is there a simple means of deriving the bitting for the entry and storage box keys?

For the storage boxes, the key code is usually on the lock core. You will need key code software or a subscription to an online service to convert the codes to bitting.

You will see the same 15 or 20 codes over and over with 5 or 6 being very, very common.

Yup.

When you make a key to one, go ahead and make one for yourself and stamp it with the code. Before long you'll have yourself a set of tryout keys that will fit most of them.

You can order precut sets also from PLS distributors.

I have made a set of FIC keys (i think 50). Most of them have the code on a sticker, easy to read.
You will run across a few where the sticker has fallen off. Its quicker to use your tryout keys than to remove the cylinder to make a key.
trimark is less used around here. So i cant advise on them.
