fgarci03, I agree with your girlfriend, in fact I left the keys on the frame bottom. You could superglue yours if you want it locked shut
I've been there more than once, that's how I got the padlocks. It's not so close to my city, but I really love that place.

Hey MacGnG1, don't forget to post a picture here if you frame it too. I used hot glue to attach mine to the back of the frame, I think it's not a strong glue and doesn't ruin the padlock.

You can get superglue out of a lock if you heat it with a lighter. ( ,I hope you won't resort to that! )

Well, if we where to break up (and I don't see that coming anywhere in a near future) the last thing I would care about was to gently remove the glue from the lock...
