I knew that this kind of locks was comon in Italy but didn't know for the other country you mentionned.

You are right. I never have seen this kind of lock in my area. We have some old lever lock as this:

Most comon locks are pin locks, dimple locks and some pump locks.

This key is a Bricard Bloctout. You are right, it is a wafer lock. The difference is that you don't have any wafer's spring the lock.
