Hi there
I know the old rule, don't pick a cylinder you rely on. (Unless you have to.) Among many reasons this is focused on the possible harm on the lock.
But how about using a lock you picked?
What do you think about using locks you've toyed around before?
Maybe some of you already know but my tactic is to change the lock on my door every one or 2 months some locks are regulars some are use only once.
The temptation is big to use a high security lock which I've got through an exchange, which has been picked before. Although I've refrained from it, because of the chance of the damage previously done on the lock.
But noone uses medeco around here so it would be so cool.
I'm like a child sitting at a table looking at a enormous tasty chocolate cake but knowing I can't touch it.
I'm even light years from picking it so it's just sitting there teasing me...
