how do you get the spring and spacer back in (without prying off the top and preferably without tweetzers)
Well, youre not asking much out of yourself are ya? You said you know how to repin locks, use the tweezers and follower. Get good at it.
The second question i have is is it easier to pick smaller or larger pins? I would think larger pins would be easier on a schlage but i'm not sure.
Im assuming you are refering to diameter? Pin the lock withe the correct diameter pins. Smaller pins would create more movement in the plug, making it easier to feel.
My last question is what pick would you prefer to use while picking a schlage?
Depends on the keyway, a short hook will suffice for most.
