I was wondering about an outer pin I found while dissecting this lock. It is a 5 pin lock, but the last outer pin was silver. The pin looks like an inverted spool. Any idea what it is and what it does?

Sounds like either drill protection or a bump stop pin to stop lock bumping attacks.
