Europe, Y1 is pretty common. Other keyways have unknown codes to me

Y1 (I think official name is E1R) all the way here too. It has a few smaller variations (in key thickness) but Silca sells a universal key which fits an astonishing amount of Y1 clones. The rest 30% which his not is divided up between many, but the majority of those are the products of a local lock-maker.
To infinity... and beyond!

Unless LocksmithArmy says otherwise, my bet is that him being an American, he's looking for info for locks in the United States for an app he's making or whatever project this is for his locksmith business.
LSA: can you please specify which regions of this planet you want asnwers for? It would be silly if people are chiming in from places like China and Poland if you are only looking for USA household and commercial lock keyways.
Thanks Squelchtone

Can you give more hints/details as to your project or what you want to know about the keyways? The more we know the better the answers we can provide. Thanks Squelchtone

the project is keyway specific (like bump keys) i just need to know what keyways are common regionally (for products to be sold worldwide) so I know which ones to target... I am trying to get some more tools on the market... I cant go into it much yet. im sure it will be widely announced when things are closer to being released.

The Silca universal blank is UL050, JMAs equal is U-5D. As mentioned it fits in YA1 (Yale) keyways and a whole lot more; CES,Abus,Assa/Ruko, Zone, Squire... At least JMA makes Shorter and longer version of that too. U-4D, U-5D & U-6D. It is a very thin blank ment to fit in many similiar keyways. A lock with good tolerances like Assa might not accept the blank because it is too loose in the keyway and it may wiggle. We don´t have many pintumblers on doors here, but the two most common are: AS-HH7(JMA)/ASS52R(Silca). For Assa 700 series oval cylinders and some copies of it. Of course there are many profiles for that lock, but this is most common here. TV-3D(JMA)/TR4(silca). For Trio-Ving and Dorma.

My area is almost all SC1 or KW1 unless its old. Then its Corbin/Russwin. Rarely ever see a Yale anymore and even more rare is lockwood.
