Farmer is sick, so I think we are going to postpone our meeting to next Saturday (March 17th, 2012). Message Farmer and I if you have questions.

Usually we have meetings on the 2nd Friday of each month, though recently I don't think we've had any? My life has pretty much been totally consumed by school, so lockpicking for me has temporarily been tossed to the wayside. However, I bet if you message FarmerFreak and Skiver you could try and get the meetings going again? :)

It's partially (mostly) my fault. I've been putting chess studies before lockpicking lately... I'd bet that Skiver would like to meet up again sometime. Sooner or later we'll meet up again, unfortunately I'm not sure when since I now have different stuff going on on our usual Friday, and Saturdays have been pretty random..

I haven't been good about attending in the past few months, but I'd still be willing to meet up sometime.

I won't be able to host, at least not until I get a few dozen more boxes unpacked and some new furniture assembled. But if anyone else sets something up, post a location, time and date. If I have at least a couple weeks notice there's a good chance I can make it.

Maybe instead of doing it at someone's home, we can go out somewhere.
Godfather's pizza on 4100 S. Redwood has a convention room you can book in advance for free, as long as you order a couple pizzas while you're there.
They also have a lunch and dinner AYCE pizza and salad buffet.
If we did that, my kids would even want to come. Sit at their own table and eat, pick some locks and they can always play the video games they have there if they get bored with the locks so they stay out from underfoot.

That sounds fun MBI. I guess just pick a day (Friday or Saturday usually only time that works for me) and I will be sure to get back to you. I have a friend who will probably come too? Once enough people have said they are coming you could go ahead and try to book a convention room or whatever? :)

Hey, is anyone still meeting on a regular basis?

I'm part of DC801 (dc801.org) and the SLC chapter of The Transistor hackerspace (thetransistor.com) and we're working on getting regular classes/meetups going for lockpicking probably on a monthly basis. I created a new thread here: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=57236

Hope to see you all there!

Just in case not everyone saw my post in the "SLC, Utah" thread, I'm just starting and very interested in meeting. I'm in Utah County so it would be difficult for me to meet in Salt Lake during the week. Is anyone else still interested? (Basepi did reply in the other thread; hi, basepi!)
