great photos!! it almost looks like someone cut the key pins to length with a pair of plyers and then sort of finished it of with a planishing hammer

Are those bottom pins standard increment? Could you use some Lab pins to replace them?

Good thinking, Anavaree. Load it with decent key pins, nine spooled drivers and three normal drivers. Gordon

Don't forget to put in a few BumpStop drivers also. Can't be too careful these days...

Good catch, phrygianradar! Think I saw bump keys for these over at www.lockpickshop.com. ***shameless plug for a LP101 sponsor. Thanks, lockpickshop. *** Gordon

Yeah those key pins look so rough at the top, a real shame. Mac, did you ever pin it up with some nice new LAB pins? Squelchtone

Checked with the guy I got mine from - normally he is the only one I can find them from. He has not seen them in a while, except on a couple of doors in his area. He said he will check into it, and as a last resort, may knock on their doors and offer to upgrade their locks. (He is a locksmith in Poland). If I hear anything more, will let you know. Gordon

You asked... These were both handmade made by Raimundo. Gordon

Does it work? (Wouldn't it bend?)
I'd like to see it in action.

The 6-hump Bogota does not work, but it is too short!
The 'wave Bogota' has succeeded precisely twice. It is not easy! A lot of highs and lows in the bitting of my key.

Easier to make a snapper that will equally apply the snap to all the pins despite the additional leverage the 12th pin would receive compared to the 1rst pin?
