RIP favorite pick..

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

RIP favorite pick..

My favorite pick finally snapped after about 3 years of service of being my #1 pick that I used almost exclusively out in the field (it and a S rake are about the only two picks I ever use).

I'm usually pretty light handed when picking so I was super surprised when it broke inside the lock I was working on. I guess to much wear ;(
Luckily I have its twin at home :D its basically a large half diamond.

Always good to have a back up copy of your favorite pick.

My fav is the short hook from Southord.

I had a Peterson DCAP hook snap on me last week. Love that pick. So much so I had to get it replaced ASAP. Which left me 150 bucks lightly once I'd finished shopping at Petersons :D

I've only broken one pick. It was and is still my favourite. It was a majestic snake pick. It is now a very small half diamond
