american locks 700 series wafer?

When did American locks put in the bypass tool block wafer?
is there a year and month anyone knows?

I dont know the answer, but you could always call American Lock, or call Peterson , the lock pick company who makes the bypass tool and breaker tool to defeat the wafer. One of them should know =)

so I called peterson and he said almost immediately after the bypass tool was invented. so he didn't have an answer And neither did american lock.

I ended up getting the peterson American Wafer Breaker Kit - 3 pc kit: Price: $64.00 it should make the bypass tool work for sure. thanks for the help .
