differences in pin heights.

how much differences therein the length of each pin in each increment? I have a lock here, and two of the cuts look almost identical, there is a difference of maybe two hair widths. I'm not sure whether it's just a manufacturing defect or whether they are actually different sized pins.

On a lockwood, you have 0 - 9. You can get 10, 11's and 12's but they do not fit in a normal key cut, (made for worn keys and the like)

Pin heights differ by brand on the lockwoods they increment for pin heights is 0.015 of an inch
