Very nice, MiLock. Look forward to more posts from you.

If somebody did not want to drill the face of the lock, they can lay the drill bit along the bottom so that it is just short of reaching the front of the lock, and use tape to mark the back of the lock. Then drill from the back until you reach the tape. The put the flat steel in from the back. :)

Thanks

The ultimate game is to ask someone to fill the lock with random and unknown choice , i can only know that will be no more than two similar pin heights and at least one trick pin
Serrated pins are very very hard

Bye

Nice work Milock.

Those brass 3mm threads would be a nightmare. Might have to do that if I swap a lock in the future. Heads up all...

Here is a Lane lock I received that has a cap over the driver pins. Don't know how common they are but if I get some more, I might swap them around the forum.

I'm a locksmith in the US, we have a company called Keedex, they make a small set of magnets that are thin enough to fit into the hole left after the cam has been removed, it allows this lock to be rekeyed with no drilling. First remove the 2 c-clips, then place the key into the plug, turn & pull out just far enough to remove the cam. You can likely find some .495 diameter thin magnets-slide one into the space the cam has left open & begin pressing the cylinder plug out. Add another magnet and press some more, being careful to not lose any top pins. Eventually you will have placed enough magnets in the cylinder hole that the plug will now be in your hand, where it can easily be rekeyed & carefully re-inserted.
