need Help identifying a safe/locks

Forgot how to dial the combination on that old safe? Think you got the right numbers but the handle is stuck? What safe should you buy? Ask your safe questions here!

need Help identifying a safe/locks

Postby Sully88 » 4 Sep 2013 9:11

Hey guys,

I'm deployed in Afghanistan and have been collecting locks from safes that guys don't need any more and the most recent one I've got, I have no idea what it is. The safe says MAF-50kl and it's just a fire safe with no real security I think. It has two locks on the front, one that allows the other to throw the bolts. The keys are both dimple keys with nothing but the serial number that identifies which lock it goes to. Any help would be greatly appreciated just to satisfy my curiosity.

I have pictures of all parts of the safe from different angles along with pictures of the locks after being taken off the safe. I can't post them on the forum because of my terrible connection, but I can e-mail them to anybody interested or if one person would like to post them on the forum for me.
