+ 1 all the way. I've got 2 Peterson's tri-folds, and I feel sure they'll outlive me Plus, they smell nice.

While the peterson case is sexy and smells nice and leathery, and is comfortable to carry, the sherman case is very tough . It is almost like a book, and survives a tool box or bag or whatever very well, the sides are quite stiff and protect the tools well. I carry the peterson bifold the most though.

I have no opinion on the other, as I've never used them. But I own the sherman and I couldn't be happier with it. I fit all kinds of weird stuff in it. Jigglers, try out keys, warded picks, helluva big auto tension wrench. Just before buying it, I was told I wouldn't be able to fit everything in there. Was I wrong, it all fits nicely!

Most locksmiths use the HPC cases. I use this one because it is small plus it has a zipper to prevent picks from falling out. They also make a bigger one but it isn't practical for locksmiths but might be for serious hobbyists with a lot of picks.

Sweet, the right hand side (under the flap) has a pocket that can hold a tubular pick too. You can carry a small workbench worth of tools in those. I have the competition case too, very handy.

Mine holds everything but the kitchen sink , with room to spare , but has a pocket the perfect size for a Peterson plug spinner .
It fits in the side pocket of most cargo/combat pants pockets .
