Which lock picks are best is a matter of personal preference. You may find you prefer Peterson reach picks, HPC hooks, and Falle-Safe rakes. Rather than buy a set, order individual picks from various manufacturers and try them out. (It goes without saying Raimundo makes the best Bogotas.)

Welcome to the forum.

For UK / European locks I'd suggest starting with a Southord Slimline sets that's within your budget. They are well suited to European keyways (traditionally narrower that North American keyways), the quality is good and the price is reasonable. Don't go any bigger than the C2010, it's really not worth it. I know many a picker who started out with Southord Slimlines.

You can google to find a number of UK retailers selling them.

If you're happy to spend more, buy Petersons European profiles, DCAPs or Slenders.

Just as Gordon mentions, buying individuals is a great option too.

In addition, there's no doubt a huge number of forum threads on this subject. 'Search' function in the top right corner of your window will see you right.

Please use the forum's Search function, it is very bad form to ask such a common question without searching first, and that goes for any internet forum.

Thanks
