This Yale lock is wonderful to practice on. It is very easy to switch out some pins if you wish, just by popping off the little cover on top of the pin chamber.
Background story:
Today I finally found a shop in Bangkok with a proper selection of locks for decent prices. I blindly filled my basket with all kinds of locks, the total was 1800 THB (~50 USD), not bad. The "Sure Loc" took longer to unpack than to pick it, but the Yale locks, that where actually cheaper than the "sure loc", are fun to pick. The other two are dimple locks that I haven't unpacked yet, a Thai made RMI DB-98-AC and SOLEX E5900 SS. I never picked a dimple lock so that will be the next challenge when I am more comfortable with the spool pins in the Yale locks.
