If you are just starting out in picking as a hobby, concertrate on picking, on lots of practice, and getting better and more consistant on different brand and model locks with all the pick shapes in your pick set.
Bumping is interesting but not really useful or challenging to a hobby picker, and unless you're studying to be a locksmith or have intent on getting into places, you dont need a big keyring of most common bump keys. If you want to just see the process and how bumping works, get a Kwikset KW1 bump key and a Defiant brand deadbolt from Home Depot to practice on. In my opinion, for anyone who is not a working locksmith, bumping is just a party trick and the fun lasts about 5 minutes.
I bought a 25 piece bump key set once when it was all the rage, and I have used it ZERO times.
Picking was just way more interesting,
