Peterson Government Steel or Southord Max High Yield?

So I'm looking for some really strong picks just for general use, and both Peterson gov steels and southord max yields look high quality. What I want to know: which one is stronger/higher quality? Which do you personally prefer? And which southord max yield type is better, 0.023 or 0.031? Thanks guys!

Naturally the thicker pick will be stronger,but then you get into the problem of narrow keyways.I've never tried the Southord max,but I really like the Peterson Gov. Steel.

I have some of both, and the .031 is too thick for some yale and best locks,
basicly a waste of money to me.
In max yield,the .023 would be the best choice IMO , they seem to be as strong as petersons
and fit in most keyways well enough to do the job.
I do not like the huge thick handles though, they are too long for me ,
and you can't fit very many of them in smaller tool carriers like the sparrows tuxedo case.
Of the two brands, I would get petersons .
