Trying to locate a key or pick window lock

I just purchased a home with fifty year old windows that are still in great shape, but I have no key to unlock them.

I contacted Andersen windows, who manufactured them, but they no longer make or stock the parts or keys for these locks. Andersen's old parts guide calls this type of lock a check rail lock.

I have searched high and low online but cannot find anything on this type of lock.



Any ideas on how to find/make a key, or at least get the windows unlocked?

Search the house for a handle that would fit on the semi circle post in the middle of that copper colored circular metal piece.
It should turn and open the window locks.

Needle nose pliers should do the trick.

Take a Silly Putty imprint to a lock or Clock shop.
