That is the one I recommended earlier. I have it in two videos of mine (linked earlier in the video).

I found it to be heavy enough to not need the suction all the time, and the only complaint I have is that the rubber jaw pads can slip if one doesn't have it tight enough. But the solution to that is to make it tight enough.

I haven't used it yet for picking.I have rekeyed a couple of deadbolts though,and it worked great.I have another cheap vise that the jaw handle kind of grinds and is hard to tighten/loosen with one hand while holding the work.The Bessey I got is pretty smooth.

I have the same one and it's great. My coffee table is glass and it holds to it very well. These kinds of vises only hold well on clean smooth surfaces.
