The custom Bogotas that Rai makes glided in and out of a lock much more fluidly than the machined Bogotas from SEREpick. I gave my friend various progressing grits of sandpaper and he got them to glide with comparative efficiency; but even still, the peaks are sharper on the handmade Bogotas--which I find to be important. I would definitely recommend corresponding directly with Rai, it was a pleasure doing business with the man.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I was always under the impression that the Bogatas from SEREpick were actually hand made custom Bogatas by Raimundo himself. http://serepick.com/custom-tools.html
The ones in that "Custom-Tools" section are handmade by Rai, but are out of stock at SEREpick. All the Bogotas online and at SEREpick right now are not made by Rai. I found that out the hard way by ordering them before I realized they weren't Rai's... (should-a went straight to the source from the Jump...lol)

Has anyone tried the southord bagota set. Ive been watching it for a while and I have been considering it for a good while since the hype began.

Nothing beats a set of real hand made Bogota picks by Raimundo. Southord's copy of his, which some say was designed and submitted to Southord by Christina of TOOOL, may look nice, but I've tried other manufacturers triple hump picks attached to a popsicle stick handle and they were not as brutally effective at opening locks as Raimundo's hand made ones. Yeah he does that sometimes. He's usually on another forum called keypicking.com . I messaged him a while back and it took him a couple of days for him to get back at me with a message.

OOps. my bad. Raimundo replied my PM. Just funny that the PM is just sitting in the OutBox when I sent.
Can't wait for my Bogota set to arrived.

I have, they are really helpful for high-low combinations.
