Gladstone Bags (Doctors bags)

Hey folks,

i've been lurking around here for a while. bought a set of picks a few years ago as i like puzzles. now every now and then my friends call me when they lock themselves out of their tool boxes or the like.

most recently a friend told me she bought a gladstone bag off ebay, and when it came, locked it. unfortunately she doesn't have the key. she's going to bring it around later, but i wanted to check if there's any tips on opening these kinds of lock, and i don't know my picks will work (South Ord set of C 1500's)

i'm sure this has been asked before, but i am weak in the search technique. if anyone finds the thread, please just direct me that way.

Im not sure anyone had asked how to pick a Gladstone bag before...

Your best bet is to google what a key looks like, probably a simple lever lock. That should give you the idea on what tool you will need to use.

That's a really cool looking, old school bag! It's a shame the lock isn't so secure... Glad your friend was able to 'pop' it.
