Cleaning Product - White Lightning

While I was in the bicycle shop yesterday I noticed a product called White Lightning Clean Streak. I searched and only found it refereed to in 1 thread with not much detail.
It's labeled as a "fast drying, no residue, bicycle degreaser". It says "Use Clean Streak's unique No-Rinse, No-Residue, Dry-Degreasing technology to quickly clean chain and gears. Clean Streak leaves chains and gears dry and thirsty for lubrication. Would this be an okay product to clean a lock with before applying lubrication? I know it's probably not the best cleaning choice. I just want to make sure it will serve it's purpose and wont harm the lock at all. Has anyone herd of or used this before? Does it seem okay to use? If it's not okay to use this product, what is a cheap, safe, effective product to use instead? I have a gatehouse lock that is so dirty/dry the key will no longer insert into the lock.

I can only speak for myself here, but I used a spraycan of carburater cleaner on outdoor locks
from time to time and it got the funk out fast.
Just sayin.

Here's a quick update in case anyone else in the future is wondering about the product. I ended up buying a new doorknob lock because the gatehouse was old and a new one was cheap. The plus is that I was able to use the old gatehouse as a guinea pig to test the White Lightning without worrying about the outcome. The product performed well, better than I expected. Right after spraying it you could see all the dirt and grime fly off the pins and plug. A quick wipe with a paper towel removed any residual dirt and dried everything right up and it had a nice shine. I applied some Try-Flow while reassembling the lock and the key slides in and out like butter. I will update the thread if I find out it has any negative side effects over time. When the Lightning runs out I will have to try either the break or carburetor cleaner. Thanks for the advice guys
