Master Locks

Greetings
Are the Master Locks (Combination with keyhole at bottom not the padlocks) able to be picked? I find it particularly difficult. Maybe its because my tension wrench won't fit in all the way due to the big pick, but has anyone picked one?

Locks with tiny keys/keyways are usually always easier with slimline/euro picks and top of keyway tension.

I haven't picked one of these, but I have some master padlocks that have the really small keyway. They are really a pain.

The lock itself isn't too bad, it's just getting to that point! I filed one of my wrenches down to get it to fit, TOK or BOK doesn't really matter as long as you can apply tension. And a short hook is a must! A small half diamond can rake it open pretty quickly too.

I have one of these locks, found it around the house. Yes they are able to be picked. Biggest hurdle I had was the tension. Not necessarily finding a wrench that fit but finding that right amount of torque. My lock was pretty worn so the plug required more tension than expected. Several times i had it picked and didn't realize. I just needed to turn the plug more in order to get the shackle to open.

Please post a photo of the exact lock you are working on, not just an Internet stock photograph. If you have internet access, you should be able to take a photo and upload it to http://imgur.com/ and Copy/Paste the address here. The reason I ask is because these types of padlocks are used for high school lockers, and we want to make sure you are not someone trying to enter another student's locker using lock picks.
