The bump-stop pin must be used above one of the three smallest sized bottom pins because of its size compared to other driver pins... If it is used above a larger size bottom pin the lock would not be useable as the long bottom pin and the bump-stop pin would not be able to move up into the bible far enough to allow for the key to be inserted or removed from the cylinder...
