Changes in new American 5200s?

The bible of the Bump Stop cylinders has slightly larger diameter pin channels, so the bump stop pin (which has a larger diameter than the key pins) can not drop down into the channel. If memory serves me correctly, there are specific pin locations the Bump Stop pin can/can not be used in.

The bump-stop pin must be used above one of the three smallest sized bottom pins because of its size compared to other driver pins... If it is used above a larger size bottom pin the lock would not be useable as the long bottom pin and the bump-stop pin would not be able to move up into the bible far enough to allow for the key to be inserted or removed from the cylinder...

@Evan - yes, but as that had been mentioned by someone else, did not repeat it. If I recall (I could go check the manual, but too lazy right now), the Bump Stop pin can not be used in bitting position #1, and I think another one.

I know of no prohibition on not using the bump-stop pin above certain chambers, in fact that would render many key bitting codes unable to use the bump-stop pins at all... The manual is just insistent that if you rekey a bump-stop cylinder to a new key bitting that you gut the cylinder and move the bump-stop pin to a chamber where it is above a shallow bottom pin...

So uh... my search has failed me and hasn't this change taken place over a year ago? I am trying to figure out if Master Lock also changed the American 700's all those I own are from prior to them being bought out? Realize I am drastically out of the loop here...
