I'd be interested in a meet as well (crossing my fingers it can fit in my crazy schedule...)

Great, Let's set something up. Let's try to keep in touch with pms and we will set something up. Bring some tools, locks, and some small safes if you can and we'll have a good ol' pot 'lock'

Much Redundant, sorry, I'm tired..lol.
I wouldn't mind hosting either, I got a couple of trusted friends that want to learn the basics. So we could probably make a day of it.
I've got some cool tools, some old locks, and a free weekend here and there.

It seems Saturdays will work best for most, I have 5 on board including myself. We can hold it at my place (unless something better comes up)
How about April? 5th or 12th work for you guys?

I've been trying to figure out how to do this. I'm game, and April 12th sounds doable.
I just ask this, anybody planning on attending please PM me your phone number, preferably a text friendly number, although I can call if need be.
This way I have a chance to get to know you guys a little beforehand..
I'm gonna work on getting a safe or two. (it's not a for sure thing though)

April 12th is confirmed, just way to many people interested to say no.
If you cannot make it, then April 13th is possible in addition to April 12th. For this I'd need several people to confirm
To confirm you need to send me your phone number, I'd like to talk to each one of you beforehand. there's room for 5. we have 4 in.
1 Spot left for April 12 unless we find a bigger spot.

I printed off a stack of pick templates today and am trying to scrounge up some Pick Stock (0.040 - 0.020 sizes) if there is some interest in pick making (I have copys of Raimundos tutorial for maiking bogotas too) Also I have 2 Commando Padlocks (just go them this week) with all security pins for people to try out . Oh and a set of tumbler picks and a lock I have a ton of stuff to bring apparently

I've been getting awesome response to this.
April 12th is a go, at my place. 5-6 people. 4 are for sure. 2 spots left. (there was only 1 , but somebody cannot make it)
I am trying to bridge the gap between hobbyists and pros, but destructive entry will not be discussed by me. I cannot control what people talk about, so what you choose to share is up to you.
Things I encourage. Bringing stock to make toys and tools, maybe you can show me how to make some tools I don't have
Bringing locks and keys (I don't have many, so if you like to pick, bring some) B.Y.O.L lol
Sharing (hey I just picked this lock!, wanna try?)
Helpfullness and sharing
Bringing safety gear, like safety glasses etc.
Bringing snacks or drinks!! ( I most likely won't have much but water )
Things I discourage. Alcohol & Drugs.. I drink sometimes. I don't care if you smoke up. It's not a terrible thing, but there will be power tools and people not drinking. So let's just leave it at that. Time and a place! (Hope I'm not coming across like a dink)
Destructive entry or spewing security flaw after security flaw. I'm pretty sure we can keep this stimulating for some of the more experienced pro's without talking about some of the more sensitive subject.
Being a dink.
I don't want to end with negatives, so I hope to have many more 'events' like this, some for the beginners and eventually some for the pro's with drilling of safes and scopes and all that wonderful stuff.
That's doesn't mean we can't talk, or you have to walk on egg shells. I'll let you know what I'm comfortable talking about, I suggest you do the same. I'll show you guys my tools, borescope, etc.
If you are a pro with all the answers, just tone it down for the beginners. I'm sure we'll have a great time.
