Question on the "Bolt Buddy"

Hey, Having troubles finding a bolt buddy image of the back!

Is this essentially a plate with threaded rods, two bolts, and a plate with two holes in it?
--> Working on upgrading my own security and want to better understand this device.


Funnily, I locked myself out after upgrading the locks to my house beyond my own picking level, success for security, fail for standing outside in the cold.

it's only been a day or so, I dont think bumping is gonna help you find a faster answer.. maybe contact the company and ask for some installation photos or something that shows all angles.

Yeah hoping to make one myself: Down the road I fully intend to buy proper upgrades for the house. At the moment, i'm trying to tighten up the security on my detached garage.
--> Someone is always home at the house, but we're a block away from subsidized housing, so anything without people in it has been a target with the neighbors. (Sheds, detached garages etc.)

Since its just my garage, the intent is to appear less of an easy target, just as much as increase security, so I've been adding security that has actual visual deterrents also. Rebar to windows, reinforced the frame from kicks, etc.

The added benefit is that i'm a new home owner (see: young kid, hah) so I have been working this through myself, learning some basic machining, welding etc.


Will work on my patience for responses too!
