I'm going to try this when my Bogotas get here today! Excellent!

My prefered tensor is a wrench made from spring steel bent at a 90 and then twisted at the handle. Its 4 or 5 inches long and the tensor is about 3/4 inch long. I also polished it before bending it. It loses sensitivity but I don't mind that with the amount of precision I get with it.

Lord how much I hate that tensioning tool. LOL it's too darn long buddy. I unfortunately inherited my mother's hand genes and I have small hands.  I use a home made top of the key way tension wrench that's about 3 inches long that rest perfectly on my index finger.

I really like having as much feedback a possible so to make my tension wrenches i hammer the end of a long nail or thick steel wire flat and then bend that at 90 degrees.
