Think he is referring to the false gates on the pins. They look like serrated pins.

Careful about reading posts here. You will end up wanting a lot of locks! Trust me, speaking from experience.

My wish list is getting out of hand

Have been tempted to update the pictures in my collection posted here, since the collection is considerably larger with lots more cool locks. My fear in doing so is that seeing what I have will only remind me of what I still want to get. And if I go looking for those locks, will find twenty more cool locks that belong in my collection.
