I am not sure if I am understanding the problem. ¿Do you have the key? Then why don't you just buy a blank (You can buy them on ebay, they are not expensive) anf file it down? Or is the problem that you don't have the keys and want one made?

You said you didn't have the keys and then posted a photo of your keys... I am very confused.

Vince,

Glad to help if possible. As to your question about pricing, I refer you back to my previous post:

GWiens2001 wrote:You can try taking it in to a local locksmith and asking if they can make keys for this type of lock. Some might, some won't. Can't tell you what your local locksmithing pricing for the job would be.

Am not a locksmith, so could not even tell you the pricing here, let alone the pricing in your area.

OOK, I get it now! Thanks for the explanation. Re-reading the whole thread it looks like I jumped your post, keysman's edit was quite misleading ^^'.

You can always disassemble it and measure the pins' height with the micrometer (As far as I know all rows are the same, so you don't need to take the whole thing apart) or impression it. Both will take time, but if you don't feel like paying a locksmith or buying another lock you don't really have many more options.

Exactly! I dont have experience with this at all thus I would prefer someone who is to do it! I would love to keep the original locks for this but I need to find someone that can reproduce the keys in order to do so. As stated, I found a local place that said to bring the locks in so I will give him a try and see what happens!

Okay trying this once again hoping someone out there can assist me in getting keys made for these?!?!?! I went to a local locksmith and he had the locks for 3 months but could not figure it out. He tried the keys in the ILCO catalog like others advised on here but said that the blanks in ILCO were equal on all four sides but the locks I had they werent. Looking at at the lock I have the top two are longer than the bottom. None the less, anyone who has experience in making these keys can you please contact me and let me know what it would cost to have keys made? ?
