Schlage 662

Ok, I made a stupid mistake. I purchased some Schlage B662P 626 commercial locks on ebay but didn't realize they were 2 3/4 backset. I need 2 3/8. From what I can tell by researching the B662P 626 12-630 is the 2 3/8. I got the 12-631. If I purchase just the part 12-630, I assume that should work with the one I purchased (why not). Can anyone confirm for sure? Also, I want to re-key & put in some mushroom/spool pins to help prevent bumping. What is the best place to purchase these security pins? What kind are best to use?

Thanks for helping a newbie!

It looks like this online dealer has what your looking for. They have bump proof kits as well as security pins. I have never ordered from them so I'm not sure how their service is. Maybe someone has ordered from them and will have something to add, or recommend another dealer.

I have purchased from CLK supplies before, I ordered several boxes of "Jet Brand" best key blanks. They ship rapidly and are pretty good.

Yes, that bolt will work. You need three more digits for your finish, example 613, 626, etc. added at the end of your 12630 number. So if it is brushed chrome you would order a 12630626.
