Sorry I meant vise, clamp to hold the lock while picking but read some entries and it seems like if using a vise the feedback got worse.
Got a bit bored on the job so I got this done

I use vise all the time when i pick some cylinders, it's almost like you pick in a door.
About feedback on a vise, I think that's individual preference.

Got a call from the local police today and got the answer that my application for a permit to own lockpicking tools was denied because there is now law that says you can´t be in possession or buy lockpicking tools even if not locksmith, on the other hand as I stated earlier you can still be questioned or withheld on suspicion of commiting a crime and with a logical and reasonable explanation there should not be any consequences. The police officer had talked to lawyers about this and that is how the law works around here, as I suspected though if starting a locksport group you need permit for gatherings in a rented or public space. So all fellow lockpickers in Sweden (if there is any?) It´s legal to have and buy lockpicking tools.

So when the legal stuff now is sorted out, is anyone interested in locksport group in sweden? Should I start a locksport meetup group first maybe to see if there is anyone in this long, cold country that would be interested in meeting up and exchange experience, trading locks, maybe some pass-around lock contest.

a swedish facebook group called "Dyrka lås" is now up to investigate how big the interest is in this country, drop buy and say hi:) If there is aomewhat interest I will proceed creating a swedish site with forum to complete first step in gathering all the people and hopefully in te future create a locksport group here in sweden.
