Thank you all for the info. I will just cut a control key down for it. It seems like an important tool to have if I intent on working with these. I think I have found the chamber but I am still having no luck. The cur down key seems like the best option.

I did not know that bump keys would work on an everest. I will have to try this one as well!! I am not a big fan of bump keys but I pretty much have a full set lol. I have had issues with bump keys damaging the lock. Modifications have been made to reduce damage with rubber dampers and springs but still lol

Thanks,
Mike

Update:

Went to another local locksmith shop because I do not have blanks. I bought it and modified.

Mike,

Thank YOU for the update. So many people ask questions or for tips, and we never hear if they succeeded. Glad you got the core out. :D

Just when you finally think you have learned it all, that is when you learn that you don't know anything yet.

Yes, a bump key works. We had 25 cores to remove and each turned and removed with 1 - 5 bumps. Many of these were overhead so it beat picking .

Absolutely, as I have stated before, I have been in the locksmith field for a little less than a year. When I entered the field I was promised training. Well, that didn't work out. I started working as a locksmith with literally 0 training. I have spent countless hours digging through the internet for information. 9 times out of 10 I would end up on this forum. I decided that it was well worth my time to be an active member because the community seems pretty awesome.

In the past I have been a member of forums and I hated not knowing how a situation turned out. So I always update when I have the issue lol.

Anyway, thank you guys for the info! I will be around the forums so feel free to get in touch with me if u need to.

Cledry- thanks for the tip about the bump keys aspect. I will make a set for the everest line. That might take a few though. I have 2grand saved up but I am not sure which key machine to get!

Thanks,
Mike
