i love this idea,
i think it can be expanded on,
as a training exercise game
use a countdown or digital egg timer
try to beat the timers countdown
allows for expansion, simply
add lockout multi point lockclip,
and progressively more difficult locks.

[evil genius idea,
attach a relay controlled camera flash capacitor
triggered by the alarm, where the switch to disconnect that circuit is locked inside]
that should provide a realistically stressful environment to encourage quick picking.

If I did this I'd end throwing the whole case out of the window :P

But it give me a nice idea tho, I am sure the locking mechanism can be included in the alarm clock, that would be a fun project to do.

On the inside, you can put some road flares with a timer that starts a countdown from 8 seconds when someone opens the case. Then leave it at the home of a lockpicking friend.

I'm not really a morning person... trying to do this in the morning... the sound of my shotgun blasting the alarm clock would wake me up... and my neighbors. :?

Does the difficulty of the locks matter? I would imagine that eventually, you'll get too accustomed to those two locks and will have to swap them out. Otherwise you won't really be alert by the time you pick them open, and may be tempted to go back to sleep.
