Best SFIC Keyway Pictures

Postby GWiens2001 » 14 Jul 2014 20:51

Thought it might be interesting to have a thread with pictures of the different Best SFIC keyways. Most of us have seen the key chart, but thought we could have actual pictures of the keyways.

Went through my collection and grabbed what was immediately present, and added a few pictures from locks in the wild.

This will, by necessity, be out of order since other people will be adding pictures, too.

If you are not sure what keyway your Best SFIC has, here are a couple charts:

First up, here is a “B”

“D"

“G”

“H”

“WC”

“WY” - (Just got them today for free!)

Know have some pictures from the wild somewhere, but please post your pictures!

Currently have one over with Snowyboy. That should be drool-worthy when it is done. :D

Good pictures Gordon, reminds me of the lock safari threads except these specimens are in captivity...

Weird that the first picture of the Kaba Peaks/Best keyway only shows B1 and B2 keyways. They go all the way to B7.

EDIT: Maybe B8, I cannot remember.

Do you have pictures of the keyways, even key catalog pics?

Wish I could help; I have A and D, which you've done justice to :). Definitely have to add a few of the more exotic keyways (not to mention a pinning setup) to my collection; Best cores have turned into something of a fixation for me.
