My first lock picked!

Well just got my 14 piece southord pick set in the mail today! So traveled down to the local hardware store and picked up a couple masterlock padlocks. Picked up a Masterlock no.3 and m5.
Was able to pick the No.3 is a matter of minutes just raking. The M5 was alittle tricker tho. Now I can pop either lock open within a few seconds

Now just need to get a better feel for the pins so I can single pin pick. But the feeling when that first lock popped open was great! Never thought it could be so easy. Just wanted to share my first success with the group!

Now stick with it, pick those same locks every day till you can do it in your sleep. Warning it becomes an obsession.

Thanks All! Yes it is becoming an obsession. Now when I go around stores or work I'm always looking at the locks. Seeing if I can recognize what kind they are. Then reading about them here and other places online.

But I will keep on practicing on my MasterLocks. It's just so scary how easy it is to pop open. Time to upgrade locks around my house and property!
