possession of lockpicks in european countries

Postby Ilie » 5 Jul 2014 7:19

Hello,
I would be thankful If you list here all the european countries, where the posesion of picklocks is disallowed. Is far as I know it is dissallowed in England, Poland and Russia.
I have it to know because I often travel to another countries and I carry the lockpicks as my toys in the car. So it should prevent problems in case of vehicle inspection and border controls.

Best regards.
Ilie

It is not illegal to possess them in the UK bug if you are found walking down the road in the early hours and stopped by the police you may bet charged with 'going equipped' you just have to be able to prove why you have them is for a legitimate reason.

According to Wikipedia, they are illegal to possess in Hungary unless you are a gov't type.
