7 pin practice lock

is a 7 pin practice lock too much? Is it much longer and i will develop poor muscle memory thats all wrong for the spacing on a more commonly found 5 pin or it really just isnt that big of a difference to even worry about. (does this count as part of my 30 posts so i can use the buy-sell-trade section?)

A seven pin practice lock is not too long. You can pin only the number of pin stacks you want to practice with. A seven pin practice lock can be quite nice in that you won't need to buy another practice lock later to get the extra pin stack when you are ready for it.

As for muscle memory for spacing - many locks have spacing between pins that are different from other manufacturers, or even other models from the same manufacturer.

You will find many members here recommending MrWizard's practice lock, and for very good reason. You will be able to learn a lot from using his practice lock, and it will be quite a while before you completely outgrow it.

I'm new here too, so I'm not sure, but I think that all posts count to for both the 30 post limit, and the 50 post limit.

So for the 50 posts/50 days rule, is the post count set in stone, or if I've been here for 50 days, and have 51 posts, but two of those are "cool lock bro." style, will I be barred?
