I think it's only a certain type of vial that was made between 1920 and 1950. The more modern ones don't have that vulnerability. But yeah, scary stuff especially when you often won't know that they even have the tear gas in the safe.
He's back, now. He PM'd me as soon as he got back in commission. I wouldn't've made a fuss about him being gone, except I was worried about him. Happy Thanksgiving TSC, good to have you back!
Having been in the army, we were exposed to tear gas. Was one heck of an experience!!! Nice hot day when all of us were sweaty. Fun fun fun. Can't imagine busting one of those vials especially if there were explosive. Surprise! Docjon
A locksmith friend of mine found one on a service call, he called the FD and they took it to the range they use for explosives disposal/training and blew it up! I told him he should have kept it, and he said you couldn't have paid him to have it in his shop.
