well i just took the blade off the motor axle and took a needle and attached it to the axle and basicly it just vibrates the pins into place. a tension wrench is still needed.

What type of needle did you use?
How do you remove the blades off the axle?

Hey everyone,
What do you mean by it vibrates???
Obviously, I understand the term "vibrate", but would you need more of a vibration while picking the lock, as the depth of the pins breaking point can be big or small, so you will need a big vibration, also, is it possible you could post some pics so I can get a better idea of what it looks like and how it works?
I have made mistakes, but never made the mistake of claiming i never made one!

It's like Newton's cradle, you know, that desktop toy with the steel balls that click-click-click one end to the other while all the balls in the middle stand still?
If you tap a key pin with, say, a vibrating needle, then the driver pin can part company with the key pin and bounce way up into the bible. If you do this to all the pins at the same time then a great big gap can open up at the shear line and tension applied just right will open the lock.
PS: I think I just got your nickname. I was reading "ultimated erren fan" and thinking but now I get it: Ultimate Derren fan. I'm with you on that. If I could learn only a fraction of the skills he has I would amaze myself.

I had an Idea like this one, sortof anyways, I had planned to get one of those little 9v motors you use in electronics and stuff and attach a rod to it, and with the pin spacing just dent it, as it turns it lifts and drops the pins, so slowly rise it and it should pick it open...

wow, everyone knows him, yeah, i have seen nearly all his shows, and including the "russian roulette" that was pretty scary, but i really love this guy, he is amazing!!!
Alot of the stuff he does is NLP, neuro linguistic programming, i can put a link to it on this site if i am allowed, there is a topic where you can ask me anything about NLP, instead of usingall of LP101 bandwidth etc

Wasn't that the Escapologist who opened the safe, can't remember his name though. He was the guy who removed that girls wheel clamp.
