from the looks of it you'll have to remove it from the plastic before you will be able to insert picks into it.

Here it is, it doesn't has pins.

Ahh... a disc detainer lock. You are not likely to pick that lock with normal lock picks because normal lock picks are designed for pin tumbler locks.

Normally, I pick the cheap disc detainer locks with a tension wrench and a piece of bent wire. Don't think I can say more on the open forum.

1. It doesn't has spring for shackle or locking tab.
2. two locking tabs move with rotation of plug otherwise no matter how much you push locking tab with even steel it won't go in. (so No shimming)
3. it has wall which won't let you go through plug. (no bypass pick)

you were already told about this lock, it is not a beginner lock to open. There are tools for disc detainer locks, you may buy them at dealextreme.com
