Good News - yeah, the safe is by Pacific Security Products and ....
Bad News - as per advised contact - PSP was an importer of 'low cost' versions of safes.
The importer did
not keep records of original factory-set combinations
So back to options:
AA. try potential factory settings
A. keep looking for combo
AB. figure out my super-duper secret hint/reminder code
B. watch a bunch of youtube vids, sand paper my fingers, buy a stethoscope, put on my coolest black T-shirt and spend Sat afternoon annoying myself as enthusiasm wanes and frustration sets in and turns to resignation as I realize that I can't learn to be Jeff Sitar in a couple of evenings.
C. Call around for quotes on non-destructive safe cracking.
D. Consider [renting / borrowing a high speed circular cut off saw and enter 'stage left' or pop the dial, drill a hole an, line it up and open it up] and then
turn the safe remnants into a mini-fallout shelter/safe room for my pet lizard ...
