Brittish Made Tension Wrench

Brittish Made Tension Wrench

Postby the sandman » 31 Jan 2015 11:11

Anybody know the brand and or a site where I can find that flat, adjustable tension wrench with C' shaped jaws that fit into the top and bottom of a key way?
It has a small brass acorn nut for adjustment of the opening of the jaws rather than spring tension.
The function is similar to the common 'Y" shaped wrench for auto locks with a spring shutter but you can use it in normal door cylinders.

Any ideas appreciated.

I am not aware of any retailer carrying or making copies of the Falle-Safe wrenches but, someone did a tutorial on here for making your own Falle type tension tools. Not sure how comfortable you for are with the DIY aspects involved but you should check it out: http://www.lockpicking101.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=35335.

MBA has a choice for "general user" or Security professional but I can't guess why anyone would want to spend that kinda money on a few tension wrenches

I just checked on their website, it says security professionals ownly. Your right the prices is ridiculous for how cheap they should be to manufacture. That was part of the reason that I was hoping someone else made them.

What I would like to have most are the FAllE picks. The double ended set of 5 with all the different hooks.

i have the falle set, i promise you... its not worth the money. i would sell you my tension wrenches, but im a collector, and dont want to replace them, they suck nuts though, they dont stay in the lock, they fall out, they bend when you apply to much tension, the nut is too hard to tighten and thus loosens while in use.

the picks, imho, suck too. they are SHARP as all hell!! i cant use them. if i did, i would end up cutting my hand open im sure. but they are fun to look at. but for 300 bucks, nope, wish i never got them. take that 300 and invest in petersons, or just buy his euro slenders 0.18 thick for $75. best investment in my picks yet!
