Need help opening a Sentry Valueguard 1550

I have a safe that I know the 3 numbers of the combo, but cannot remember the order or how to dial. Is it L-R-L, clear the dial, left to 1st #, right past 2nd # one time, left straight to 3rd #?

Are the combos typically biggest #, smallest #, mid #?

I haven't open the safe in years

Turn left (counter clockwise) until you reach the first number of the combination for the third time. Turn right (clockwise) until you reach the second number for the second time. Turn left (counter clockwise) until you reach the last number (don't pass the number, just go straight to it).

Now turn the handle.
