check the MIT guide. the plug rotates slightly. but beware of security pins (serrated, mushroom or spooled) that give you the impression you picked it

You've got to be paying attention, but you'll feel a "tink" in the tension wrench (yes, you must learn to hear with your fingers.)
after the the pin will lose it's springiness and just hang lazy, unless it's a spool, but that's a question you'll need addressed in a few months if you work at it.
