I have been at this for a bit over a month now and need some advice as to what lock would be hard to pick. I have picked all of the Master 1,2,3,4,5 8 (boy is that little thing a pain to pick..) I have picked the 3 American 1105's I have, and have mixed up the pins probably 50 times and even added a 6th pin. I got a Master Lock 930 (is it the same as the American 700?) and picked it over 100 times while moving the pins around and adding a 6th pin. I made some security pins and put them in Schlage and Quickset locks and picked them over 50 times each.
I found a couple American H10's which are very fun to pick (double sided wafer lock)
I need something that is going to take some time picking but I dont know enough about locks to know what to look for. I have watched tons of videos on Youtube but all of the hard locks seem to be European and very expensive (and not for sale in my area)
Thanks for any help

To find a good pinned lock, you have to spend a little. Most multilocks and kabbas are very expensive, but if you go on ebay and do a little bit of digging, you're bound to find some kind of great deal which can fit your liking.
Also, a tip I'm willing to give you is that occasionally you will see some of the lp101 members have a sellout of some of their high security locks for next to nothing on here. Just go to the buy sell and trade section of the site, and take a look once in a while.

If you want a real challenge check out the XPUZMAG lock, it's far beyond my abilities but it looks awesome. On a more serious note maybe you could try an Assa 700 they are seven pin swedish lock, a scorpion cx-5 its a 6 pin South Korean model or maybe a good old abus 83. I guess none of those are for the budget minded.

Please read the rules carefully. you CAN go in there and post a Want ad, but you cannot Sell or offer Trades. Nothing stopping you for asking to buy a lock from someone however. Squelchtone

Thanks for the rules "heads up" Im also one of those guys that never look at the instructions when putting things together or ask for directions when driving ( my wife bought one of those Tom-Tom's because of it... it stays on her side of the car ) I'm going to be swapping a lock with marman in Norway. I cant wait to try picking a lock with those christmas tree pins...
