todays haul.

So I saw this craigslist post.
*****************************************
I was a locksmith for 4 years got everything
All tools machines keys and locks,
Need to trade my truck on Thursday!!!
First come first serve.
One package deal all the stuff inside my van
For a $1000
Brand new
Hpc punch machine
ilco speedex(not mini) key copy
T-300 and SBB transponder programming with all cables
Transponder keys most cars
Key blanks sc1 kw y1 and arrow
Dewalt electric drill and all locksmith tools
Pro pin kit with all extra pins and follower
2 large hookes and 2 air wadge for car lockouts
And most locks residential and commercial
You will not need anything else
All for $1000
*****************************************************************************
So I went and took a look at his stuff today and it was a pretty nice pile. The HPC punch and the Speedex were really what I was after and figured anything else I could use would be a bonus.
There were a bunch of auto rekeying stuff including the transponder style key programmers which I know nothing about. I never work on cars, and have no desire to. So those will have to find a new home.

Most of the locksets are from Maxtech which I am unfamiliar with as a manufacturer, anyone have any opinions of Maxtech?
Anyone use the HPC punch machine? And how do you like it.?

Nice haul! If you're looking to sell your transponder blanks, I may be interested. Congratulations on an excellent find.

I'll let you know what I have. They are all jumbled together, so I'm going to start sorting through stuff today. basically he emptied his truck into a pile in the garage, where it sat for a few weeks, then we loaded the pile into my truck. Which jumbled it more.
Anything specific you're looking for?

Well, I do cars, and just picked up a couple used programmers, in fact the same ones that you just got. As of yet I haven't purchased any keys. Up until now what I've usually done is made a mechanical key for the vehicle in question (always 10 years old or older) and they've gone to the dealer for the rest. I guess for my area, whatever Ford, Jeep/Dodge/Chrysler, and GM that you might have. But if you are looking to get rid of them as a lot, then I'm OK with that too.

Any idea how old that SBB is ? I might be interested in it if you're not planning to keep it.

I have a bunch of GM VATS keys, Also over 800 assorted plain metal auto blanks, probably from a starter kit.
I have 18 transponder keys from the ones you listed, and 14 for Nissan, Mitsubishi and Toyota.

Hey, thank you for letting me know about that, man. I am gonna pass on that programmer though because it's older than the one I've already got. Thank you again.
