putting on Southord lockpick grips

Postby bryang » 11 Apr 2015 1:29

I recently purchased a set of Southord lockpick grips to put onto my Southord lock pick set (which came without grips). I cannot seem to slide the grips all the way on. I realize this is a stupid question but has anyone else experienced this and found a solution? already tried putting a pick in the freezer to try to shrink it but that didn't help at all.

I have some if these, along with some Southord picks with and witgout the wider handles. The rubber sleeves won't fit on the reinforced handles, if that's what you've got going on. Maybe if you warmed them up to stretch the rubber?

If it's the thin handles giving you a problem, you just have to keep working them, they'll go. Just be careful not to stab yourself with the pointy end.

If you put the grip part in boiling or hot water it will become more pliable

Could you post a link to these grips? I can't find them on the Southord website.

They're made by Brockhage. Southord will sometimes reach out for accessories for whatever reason.

Legit site, I've ordered from them in the past.
