Only 4 pins here in the UK but even worse for France with only 1 and 0 in Germany .
I *know* for a fact that there are a lot of pickers here in the UK so I think people just don't know about the map sadly.

There are a number of members from Finland. One is even right there in your town. But most members don't add themselves to the map. Sad that they don't, since it could help them meet IRL.

I was just about to comment on this, Gordon already made the point that I was going to say, though.
I'm one of only.. I think 3 or 4 pins in the whole of the UK (off the top of my head), but I know that there are a lot more of us, in fact there's an entire forums just for us Brits - it's good to get on this map but don't use it as an indication of all members or all lockpickers from around the web. Maybe one day we'll be able to get a better uptake on this as it would be great to see everyone visually.

(Bear in mind also that many people might choose not to add themselves for privacy reasons)

For privacy reasons you could decide just to put the pointer somewhere random in your city you live it like I have done. I chose a random location in my town since there are around 50,000 souls living here so finding my specific location would be hard
